A kneeling mat will encourage you to look in the pond when its cold and wet

A good piece of equipment for garden pond dipping is a kneeling mat.

When the ground is wet and you need to kneel down to do some dipping a foam mat like this banishes wet and muddy kness.

Leave it by the pond with the sieve and tray and it’ll encourage a bit of dipping on the those cold and damp days you might otherwise not want to go out into the garden.
